Funeral of Mrs L.E.Nunn
The funeral took place at St Mary's Church, Ickworth, on Saturday, of Mrs L.E.Nunn, wife of Mr Tom Nunn, the White House, Ickworth Park. Mrs Nunn died suddenly in her 73rd year. Mrs Nunn, who was of a quiet and retiring nature, had lived on the Ickworth Estate nearly all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs W. Willingham, of Crows Wood, Ickworth Park. She was always an active member of the church. The Archdeacon of Sudbury, the Ven. H.R.Norton, officiated at the service.
Family mourners were: Mr T.Nunn, widower, Mr Leslie Nunn, Mr Tom Nunn, sons, Mrs J. Watson, Mrs K.Sadler (daughters), Mrs T.Nunn (daughter-in-law), Mr and Mrs A.Willingham (brother and sister-in-law), Mrs H.Willingham (sister-in-law), Mrs C.Francis, Mr and Mrs G.Francis, Mrs F.Frost, Mrs D.Plummer, Mrs R.Plummer, Miss J.Willingham, Mr A.Willingham (nephews and nieces).

Three sisters to assist her
Miss Joan Veal, daughter of Mrs E.J.Veal, of Springfield Road, Bury St Edmunds, was attended by three sisters at her Easter Saturday wedding in St John's Church to Mr Reginald Osborne, second son of Mr and Mrs F.W.E.Osborne, Shakers Lane, Bury St Edmunds.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a full-length gown of white satin, trimmed with orange blossom, and an embroidered veil held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of crimson carnations and trailing fern.
Her three matrons of honour were Mrs L.Harvey, Mrs T.Nunn and Mrs G.Porter and the best man was the brother of the bridegroom, Mr George Osborne.
