Interesting to note that both Emma and her husband died around the same time in December 1946. There is a thank you notice from their children thanking doctors and staff at St Mary's Hospital but no other information that suggests cause of death. Whether they both died from the same affliction (illness perhaps) or because of other reasons is yet to be discovered.
