Less detail
Generation: 1

  1. 1.  Elspet SILVER was born on 15 Jan 1821 in Fetteresso, Kincardine, Scotland, UK; died in UNKNOWN.

    Other Events and Attributes:

    • Census: 1841, Carnieburn, Fetteresso, Kincardine, Scotland, UK

    Notes:

This is her likely death certificate but there are a couple of questions/anomalies. If this is the same Elpset Silver, she was born in Jan 1821 which means she would have already turned 84. The other issue is her mother's name given as Elspet Jamieson M.S.Edward. However, the only Elspet Silver found in the records born in 1821 was to Adam Silver and Charlotte Jamieson.
1905 deaths in the district of Cookney in the county of Kincardine:
No 5 Elspet McDonald (widow of Angus McDonald crofter) 1905 March 26 at 2.30pm at Hill of Brucewell, Cookney, female, 83 years 11 months. Dau of Adam Silver, farmer, deceased and Elspet Jamieson M.S.Edward, deceased, cause: senile decay, Informant George McDonald, son.

    Birth:
    From Fetteresso OPR
Adam Silver shoemaker in Craigwells had a daughter by his wife Charlotte Jamieson born 15/01/1821 and baptised 29/01/1821 named Elspet. Witnesses William Silver and James Silver there.
