4. | David SILVER ![]() Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: From David's obituary, we know that he and Georgina were missionaries in the West Indies for six years until about 1904. Their son George (born about 1897 in Grenada) was the only one of four children to survive to adulthood. The 1911 census for David and Georgina reveals that George's three siblings had passed before that year. There is only a record for his sister Loveday, who was born and died within hours in Scotland. Presumably the two others passed away in Grenada. David married Georgina STEPHEN on 16 Feb 1897 in Stotfield Hotel, Drainie, Moray, Scotland, UK. Georgina was born on 19 Apr 1865 in Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, Scotland, UK; died in 1941 in Newington, Midlothian, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

17. | George James SILVER ![]() Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Some ancestry trees have him born in Suffolk 14 Nov 1897 but on 1911 Scotland census he is staying with his grandmother and his birthplace is given as Grenada, West Indies which fits with the fact that his parents were missionaries there. The 1911 census for his parents reveals that George's three siblings were dead. There is only a record for his sister Loveday born and died within hours in Scotland. Presumably the two others passed away in Grenada. George married Nora Adair SECKHAM on 30 Jun 1926 in Warwickshire, England, UK. Nora was born on 26 Mar 1896 in Shortlands, Bromley, Kent, England, UK; died on 20 Feb 1979 in Deben, Suffolk, England; was buried in Feb 1979 in St Andrews Church, Bredfield, Suffolk, England, UK.
