DEATH OF MR. C.NUNN. - Within seven weeks of the passing of his wife, Mr. Charles Nunn, of Maynewater Square, died at the age of 82 years on Tuesday - seven days before his eighty-third birthday. He had been in failing health for several months, and his condition gradually became worse after the death of his wife in September. Born at Chedburgh, he became employed at the Westgate Brewery as a drayman at a very early age, and served in that capacity for over half a century, retiring about twelve years ago. He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary several years since. Perhaps he will best be remembered through that well-known advertisement of Messrs. Green, King and Sons, Ltd., on which can be seen two of the firm's oldest pensioners about to enjoy a "pull" at a can of frothy beer. The deceased is the happy looking old gentleman with the snow white hair. Much sympathy has been extended to his three daughters. The funeral takes place on Monday at 2.15 p.m.
